Anthony Carotenuto is an actor, writer and director based in New York City.

Born and raised in Italy, Anthony has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Studies and a Master of Arts in Screenwriting.
He recently graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts' conservatory program of Performing Arts.

Before crossing the ocean, he worked as an Assistant Director for film and television, proudly collaborating with Academy Awards winning directors Edward Berger (Conclave), Luca Guadagnino (Queer) and Paolo Sorrentino (Parthenope, The New Pope).

As an actor, his most recent credits include Friar John in Romeo and Juliet, Edwards in Blue Stockings, and Feste in Twelfth Night. He will soon perform at The Chain Theatre as Alex in Short King. You can also hear his voice as Massimo in Martin Scorsese's The Saints, Season 2 (Episode 4, "Carlo Acutis").
